Fans are dubbing the couple's radiance as the "freedom glow."
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry (as he now wishes to be addressed) made their first public appearance in London since stepping down from their royal duties this evening and, judging by their grins, one can only guess that life post-palace is treating them very well. The couple were spotted arriving at the Endeavour Awards which honours wounded military veterans who use athletic pursuits to aid themselves and others in recovery.
For the occasion, Meghan wore a bright blue short-sleeved dress by Victoria Beckham, which she teamed with navy Manolo Blahnik court shoes, a clutch bag and a centre-parted ponytail. Harry matched her in blue, looking dapper in a navy suit.
With her bronzed cheeks, lush lashes, and healthy amount of highlighter, Markle looked radiant in a way one Twitter fan dubbed the "freedom glow." Others noted her rich berry lip colour, a step up from the mauves and neutrals we're used to seeing her in.
This occasion marks the first official outing for the royal pair since the couple moved to Canada earlier this year, following an announcement that they planned to step down as senior members of the British royal family.
They will officially split from the household on 31 March, following their final royal engagements this month, including the Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey next week, where they will join the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as well as Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, the Queen and other members of the family.
