Victoria Beckham Pokes Fun At The Spice Girls Reunion Tour

She’s currently on holiday in Miami...

Victoria Beckham, formerly known as Posh Spice, shattered hearts across the (spice) world when turned down the opportunity to grab a mic and sing with her old girl band once last time.

But despite being one member down, The Spice Girls went onto have a hugely successful reunion tour last month and it looks like Posh, sorry, Victoria has finally spoken out about her absence.

The popstar-turned-designer took to her social media this week to post a tongue-in-cheek message nodding to her absence during the tour.

On her Instagram Stories, Beckham shared on her a video of herself on holiday in Miami, surrounded by dry ice and glasses of wine. She wrote:

I mean… All this dry ice makes me feel like I’m on tour x.

In an interview with Vogue Germany, she explained her reasoning for skipping the tour, confirming that it wasn’t a decision she took lightly.

It took me a lot of courage not to go on tour with the Spice Girls again, but to be the one who says: ‘You know, I’m not doing it because things feel different now than they used to'

“I’d rather concentrate on my family and my company. I’m 45 now and very happy to be the woman I am… I’m not trying to change, I want to be the best version of myself. Before I turned 40, I wasn’t that confident. I learned to listen to my gut feeling.” she continued.

Fans were equally surprised that the Wannabe singer didn’t even appear as a guest or visit the girls backstage while they were on tour.

Speaking about the snub, Mel B admitted: ‘I expected her to come and just say hi at least. Not even on stage, just as an audience member supporting…

‘I’m sure she has her reasons for not. I’ve already said, “Yeah I was upset”, I still am a little bit. It is what it is and us girls we all support each other no matter what, but yeah it is disappointing.’

Here's hoping all that dry ice has inspired Posh to get the band back together, again.
