Frieda Gormley and Javvy Royle of House of Hackney

What's psychedelic, floral and printed all over? & Other Stories' latest co-lab, with maximalist favourite, House of Hackney.

Take one of our ultimate Swedish high street stalwarts (we have a few!) and combine it with arguably the coolest purveyor of fine florals and what do you have – & Other Stories X House of Hackney, otherwise known as the collaboration that is giving us life this season.

The latest co-lab from & Other Stories with the luxury interiors and lifestyle brand will include ready-to-wear, accessories and shoes, and will launch in store this May.

We've had a sneak peek at the collection and – to describe it best – it's a romp through Victorian bohemia, via some psychedelic floral prints. Think everything the maximalist lifestyle brand does best, in bite-sized form. Our Fashion Ed's favourites include a striking eveningwear dress in hues of lavender (pictured above), while a striking zebra-print pair of trousers will be a must-have for any fans of the 2016 H&M x Kenzo collaboration.

Key pieces include louche-luxe dresses and skirts, wide-leg trousers, high-volume blouses as well as bags, shoes and accessories, primarily made in sustainable materials such as TENCEL® and organic cotton.

Speaking of the hook up, co-founder of House of Hackney, Frieda Gormley, who studied at Trinity College Dublin, said.“We love & Other Stories’ silhouettes, print treatments and how meaningful the brand’s social messaging feels. The collection that we created together is a heightened version of nature. We were inspired by British psychedelia, vibrant fabrics from our local Ridley Road Market, and the bohemian mood of the Bloomsbury Group."

Hit up the June issue of Irish Tatler, out early May, for an exclusive interview with the founders of the brand plus a reveal of some of the key looks from the collection.
