Best new venue: The Cliff at Lyons
The Cliff at Lyons is made up of a collection of historic Georgian houses, a barracks, forge and mill situated on the Grand Canal in Kildare. It was renovated in 1996 by Tony Ryan as a private home and was sold to the Cliff Collection in 2016. The hotel is a sister to the Cliff Townhouse on Dublin’s St Stephen’s Green.
