Not just a palette packed with warm, autumn-friendly shades, but cheeks that just got a whole lot sweeter and lips like cherry wine too, Urban Decay's new Naked Cherry collection makes wearing pink-hued makeup as easy as pie.

First up: the Naked Cherry Eye Palette. With 12 never-before-picked shades, including an array of soft mattes and bolder metallics – ranging from creamy ivory and shimmering coppers and plums to the most intense black cherry – it might look scary initially, but we swear it's more sweet than anything else.

True to Naked-form, each shade promises serious staying power, as well as a formula that gives velvety texture and rich colour pay-off, all packaged up in a crimson compact adorned with metallic cherries on the front and a full-size mirror and double-sided brush inside.

But the eye palette isn't the only palette is the Naked Cherry collection though, there's also the Highlight & Blush Palette, which features a highlighter, a universally flattering reddish-coral blush, and a "super-sophisticated iridescent complexion topper."

Both palettes beg to be worn with three limited-edition matching shades of Vice Lipstick, the brand's cult-favourite formula; Cherry (a deep cherry red), Devilish (a sparkling pink), and Juicy (a shimmering peachy beige) — and the two new 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils, in Love Drug (a shimmering plum) and Black Market (a shimmering graphite).

And to put the, ahem, cherry on top of your look, Urban Decay's famous The All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray – that keeps makeup looking  just-applied for up to 16 hours – gets a cherry-scented upgrade, but remains suitable for all skin types.

To celebrate the launch of the Naked Cherry Collection, which launches in The Urban Decay Boutique on Grafton Street, Dublin 2 and Debenhams Stores nationwide and online from 15th October 2018, Irish Tatler got an exclusive look at what happened when five of the industry's best-known makeup artists got their hands on the products for the first time.

We went behind the scenes while freelance artists Billy OrrLeonard Daly, Anne Marie Carey JuddMake Up Director of @brownsugardubDearbhla Keenan, and Urban Decay's own Senior Makeup Artist Amy McKnight and Global Make-up artist for Urban Decay, Danielle Roberts each created a unique look using the Naked Cherry collection, and here's how they got on.
