It's a case of bright lights, big city as 10 Irish designers take to the spotlight for the Wearing Irish design summit in NYC next week.
Selected from a pool of 170 applicants, the ten designers include Áine, Jennifer Rothwell, Sands and Hall, Alison Connelly and Bláithín Ennis. Purveyor of leather goods De Bruir and Wexford-based contemporary jeweller Inner Island will also feature.
Outerwear designer Triona and Galway-based lifestyle designer, The Tweed Project are also on the roll call. Meanwhile, Natalie B Coleman will showcase her ss18 collection titled Guaranteed to Bleed, the campaign of which starred much loved Irish activist and actress Charlene McKenna.
The designer took to Instagram to express her excitement at the Wearing Irish summit on 15 to 17 May.
